So I am bored as shit with the lack of worth while players in games like WoW. I play it for the pvp but the season is winding down and I miss the memories of Revelations. I was thinking about re-installing. For the people who know me, what do you think? Is it worth it? Should I bring back the pwnage to Unrest? Is there too much already to handle the Prince? =) No seriously, talk to me. Let me know what you think.

I think it would be awesome to see you back in circulation. The team Revelations has now knows their shit, and seems like a fun bunch to play with. But I'm selfish. I like playing with people I know, especially the ones who know their shit.

I'm still warming up to Everquest 2 again. So far it's keeping me interested. The instances that are new to me (which is pretty much everything released in the last year) have been a lot of fun. Better level design, and more challenging heroic encounters seem to be common. There is still plenty to love and hate about the game, but after an extended break the things I love about it are fun enough for me to put up with what I hate about it.

I think that's always the case with Everquest, and what makes the biggest difference in the long run is the people you meet and hang out with while you play. What I've seen of Revelations so far is a fun and skilled bunch of players. This still isn't a hard core guild, and if you're going to quickly get frustrated by watching Confirmed kill contested then this might not be for you. If you want to play with a bunch of people who learn fast, get shit done (eventually), and have a lot of fun raiding a couple of nights a week, then I think you could do far far worse.

Always articulate and precise Ash. I think I may try reinstalling it today and see how I feel about it. Remember when we first started Revelations? We weren't the top from the first day, but we worked our way there and began to dominate the compeition. I'm sure Revelations now still has that same potential.

Chanters are FOTM right now, but are on the radar with dev's for "balancing" soon so don't waste your time rolling one. SK's are also very popular but being beat back into submission (tho from all accts its still better than they had it before). Templars are the "OP" healer class, though it clearly depends on who is playing it. Oh yeah, and dark elf assassins are supposed to be the class/race combo du jur, especially when combined with being an alchemist.

JMHO of course, others may disagree.

Troubs are always low on supply and high in demand. Any class with a multitude of AE abilites will really enjoy this expansion.
