Subject kind of sums it up. For those that remember me, Copasetic - Defiler (was only a FnF). So, "Hi" to the gang. From the looks of things you guys are still kicking ass! Still playing Aion atm, they made some major tweaks and I'm giving it a try but i've been considering coming back to EQ2. Although I think i'm a couple expansions behind, which would probably put me at a disadvantage. Aion has some really fun things but has it's annoying shit too. I miss the control and detail in EQ2, as well as the community (Aion community is slightly better the Wow but not by much) and it's hard to not try and wish for EQ2 style play every time I run into one of the PITA things in Aion.

Without being a total scrub and asking "whats new?", if anyone wants to spit out a few words on the current state of the game and if you guys are still enjoying it, that would be cool. SOE forums suck because it's always asshats bitching aboout the game. (some people are never happy I guess). No need for a dissertation on the current state of things but if anyone has the time and energy to give me a couple clues as to if i'd just be wasting my time coming back after so much time gone, i'd appreciate it.

Grindfest is right. They really upped the drop rates a couple patches ago that it's almost too easy. Total catch-22. Had to spend months before to try and gear out and even then you had to be one lucky S.O.B. Now it's like shit falls in your lap for no effort. They suck and finding the middle ground balance wise. I think they are trying to WoW-a-tize it. I'm ready for a change and EQ2 was my first love in mmo's. You mention EQ to people in Aion and they have no clue what you are talking about lol.

Oh, and I guess Defilers have been left behind as the "class of the month" then eh?

Hey Copa! Long time, dude!

Aion is dead. Lol. The new changes were alright - I rerolled an asmo and played it up to like 45? But the current population + lack of effort on multiple fronts is painstaking. Oh and there's still no content to be played what so ever. Whether you're an elitist PvPer or a PvE faggot - as they like to call people, you're stuck doing one or the other and yeah...there's no middle ground. And there's no real point in doing one or the other really.

Anyway, I'm coming back to play EQ2 - maybe I'll see you around. Just add Musashii to you list if you decide to play and hit me up.

Xerx sold her accnt, not sure on Thad tbh, Hristt plays Aion still and Chokan/Trak I could care less about. Hope he gets hit by a burning bus on his way out to work one morning.
